What should I consider when choosing canapé caterers for my event?
Consider the caterer’s experience, menu variety, ingredient quality, and customer reviews. Also, assess their flexibility in accommodating dietary requirements and their ability to adapt to your event’s theme or specific needs.
How far do you travel?
Normally within a 25-mile radius of our base, but we are really flexible and do please ask – we are here to provide you with a very professional and helpful service.
How far in advance do I need to book canapé catering services?
We recommend booking as early as possible, ideally several months in advance, to secure your preferred date. However, we can sometimes accommodate last-minute requests depending on availability.
Can the menu be customised to fit dietary restrictions and allergies?
Absolutely. We pride ourselves on our ability to cater to a wide range of dietary needs including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and nut-free options. Please discuss your requirements with us in advance.
How are the canapés served during the event?
Canapés are typically served by our professional staff circulating among guests. We can also arrange for stationary canapé tables. The serving style will depend on your event’s specific needs and setup.
Are references available?
Absolutely – Don’t be afraid to ask! Copies of thank you letters and clients you can contact are readily available.
What is included in the canapé catering service?
Our service usually includes menu consultation and customisation, food preparation, canapé presentation, serving equipment, and staff to serve the canapés. We’ll detail everything included in your personalised quote.
How many canapés should I order per guest?
We generally recommend planning for 4-6 canapés per guest for a 1-hour reception. For longer events, or if canapés are the main fare, 10-12 per guest is advisable. We’re happy to help you calculate based on your event’s specifics.
Do you provide canapé catering services for outdoor events?
Yes, we can cater to both indoor and outdoor events. Our team will work with you to ensure the setup is perfect for your chosen location.
Are there any hidden costs I should be aware of?
We strive for transparency in our pricing. Your quote will include all costs related to food, staff, and equipment. Any potential extra costs (like travel expenses for distant venues) will be clearly outlined.
What about Health & Safety issues and Public Liability Insurance?
All our staff have the appropriate Food Hygiene Certificates and our company has the necessary product and public liability insurance in place. (Copies are available upon request)
How does payment work?
We require a 50% deposit to confirm the booking.
We will contact you at least 14 days prior to your function to discuss final numbers and precise timings and at this point the final payment then becomes due
